In 1832, Auguste Agassiz founded Le Comptoir horloger de Saint-Imier, which in 1867 became the Longines brand in reference to the site of the factory at Es Longines. The house produces its own movement with winding and time setting device that will be recompensed at the universal exhibition of 1867. The house will gradually become known for its sports or complication watches, such as the Saint-Imier Collection or the Master Collection. But one of the flagship models remains the Longines Conquest available in vintage or modern versions, for men or women.
