Rolex launched its famous GMT Master in the early 1950s. The Rolex GMT Master is designed for travelers and professional drivers. The 24-hour graduated rotating bezel allows the reading of several time zones at the same time. Some Rolex GMT Masters are equipped with a two-tone bezel that makes it easy to read time zones. These colors are at the origin of the nicknames Rolex Pepsi, Rolex Batman or Rolex Coca. The Rolex GMT Master has not been produced since the 1980s, giving way to the new GMT Master II generation.
